Beta Beta Theta, Ohio University Lancaster Campus’s chapter of the national honor society Phi Theta Kappa, recently claimed the following new area members:

Nicole Bishop, Holly Demmler, Logan (43138);
Michelle Maki, Pickerington (43147);
Russell McClain, Reynoldsburg (43068).
To be eligible for membership in Beta Beta Theta, a student must maintain a 3.5 GPA and have earned at least 12 credit hours applicable to an associate’s degree.
Phi Theta Kappa chartered the local chapter in 1995, according to Campus Dean John Furlow, Chapter advisor.          
Chapter members are collecting coats, hats, gloves, and blankets for area families and will lead a nonperishable food drive during winter quarter. In April they will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Fairfield County.
