Applicant Information
To enroll as a student at Ohio University Lancaster Campus a student must have a high school diploma or GED. The Lancaster Campus has no deadline for admission during any quarter; however, prospective students are advised to begin the application process as soon as possible so that they may be given important dates and deadlines in a timely manner.

Freshman Applicants
Applicants must complete the Ohio University Regional Campus Application (click here to download) and return it to the Admissions Office with a $20 application fee or apply online.

Transfer Applicants
To apply as a transfer student, applicants must complete the Ohio University Regional Campus Application (click here to download) and return it to the Admissions Office with a $20 application fee or apply online. Transcripts from all colleges previously attended must be sent directly to the Student Services Office address listed below.

Placement Testing
All new, incoming freshmen (and transfer students who have not taken freshmen-level math and/or English) must take the Placement Test. The Placement Test will examine a student's math, English, and reading skills. Academic advisors will use the results of this test to place students in the proper courses. The placement test requires advanced registration at no charge. No calculators are permitted.

Orientation is designed to acquaint new students with the Campus. Students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with admissions, registration, and financial aid policies and procedures; meet with academic advisors to learn how to plan their schedules; and spend time with Lancaster Campus Faculty discussing how they can best prepare for the first day of classes. In addition, students will be introduced to the library, bookstore, daycare, computer services, and the athletics and activities department. The dates and times are listed below. Because orientation has limited seating, advanced registration is required. To register, please call (740) 654-6711 ext. 215.

Registration
Registration at Ohio University , including the Lancaster Campus, can be accomplished via the Web at https://ouaccmvs.cats.ohiou.edu/sisreg.

Tuition due dates are published in the front of the quarterly schedule. By registering for classes, a student incurs a legal obligation to pay tuition and fees. This debt may be canceled only if the student officially cancels his or her registration by the date established in the quarterly schedule.
